Trakai Castle

Trakai Island Castle, located on Lake Galvė, is the only surviving castle among many ancient castles and is one of the most famous landmarks in Lithuania. It was originally built in 1377, and from the 14th to 16th centuries, it served as the residence of the Grand Dukes of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Today, the castle operates as a history museum, showcasing various arts and crafts. The castle’s hall can also be used for concerts.
