DAY1The highlight of the Snæfellsnes
We will pick you up at 9:00 AM at your hotel or at a pick-up point of your choice in Reykjavik. Please note that the entire pickup process may take up to 30 minutes.
Your first stop today will be Borganes, a village known for its rich Viking history. You will also visit the majestic basalt columns of Gerðuberg before heading to the golden sands of Ytri Tunga.
Your day will stop in Budir, a small village with stunning scenery of the Snæfellsnes. Next on the agenda is Arnarstapi, a charming little fishing village where you will enjoy lunch. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to stroll through the Vatnshellir Cave (an optional activity for an extra fee), which lies beneath the Snæfellsnes National Park. The cave is a lava tube tunnel that is about 8,000 years old. Your certified spelunking guide will explain its formation as well as the fascinating features of the hidden sites. This experience will take you as close as possible to the story in Jules Verne's book Journey to the Center of the Earth. Another free option to Vatnshellir Cave is the Malarrif Visitor Centre with its free lighthouse. The final attraction of the day is the Black beach - Djupalonssandur, where you can see the remains of a shipwreck dating back to 1948. After exploring here, you will be taken to the Hellissandur Adventure Hotel (or similar).
If you travel from the end of September to the beginning of April, you will have the opportunity to find the Northern Lights if the conditions are right.

DAY2Borgarfjörður region
After breakfast, you'll start your day with a tour of perhaps the most photogenic peak, Kirkjufell. Fans of the TV show "Game of Thrones" will recognize this location as one of the show's filming locations.
This will be followed by a short stop in the Icelandic town of Grundarfjorður, where you will have a rest and can buy some snacks or other essentials.
Next up on the tour is a stop at Hraunfossar and Barnafoss Waterfalls. Hraunfossar (" Lava falls ") is a large group of smaller waterfalls that cascade through cracks in the lava formation. Barnafoss (" Children's Waterfall ") is famous for folklore, because once upon a time two children tragically drowned.
After that, you'll head to the historic site of Reykholt, where you'll find a hot spring pool, Snorralaug, the bathing place of Iceland's most famous poet and politician, Snorri Sturluson.
You can also get the unique opportunity to relax at the Krauma Geothermal Baths for an extra fee. But if you'd rather keep exploring the area, you'll be taken to the Sturlureykir racecourse, where you'll meet Icelandic horses and learn all about the geothermal heating system on the farm.
Afterwards, you will visit Deildartunguhver - the most powerful hot spring in Europe. The hot springs have a constant temperature of 206 degrees Fahrenheit (97 degrees Celsius) and spew up to 47.5 gallons (180 liters) of water per second. Hot springs are used to provide heating and hot water to neighboring areas.
Your day will return to the capital at around 6pm.

DAY3Golden circle
Our priority today is the Golden Circle. We'll start with Thingvellir National Park, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its complex geological nature and history. The rift's unique landscape has been formed over time by the ongoing turbulent interaction between the two underlying tectonic plates, the North American plate and the Eurasian plate.
It is also home to the world's longest running parliament, the Althingi, which was founded in 930 AD. Don't forget to keep an eye out for Iceland's largest natural lake, Thingvallavatn. After exploring this wonderful rift, we will continue southwest to the Haukadalur Valley and Geysir geothermal Area. We will see Strokkur, a Geysir that is still active and erupts up to 25 meters high every few minutes. Next, we will visit the majestic Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall). In the early 20th century, some British people tried to acquire the waterfall and build a hydroelectric power plant to control the power of the Heveta River. Fortunately for everyone, their plan failed due to lack of funds, and to this day the waterfall remains untouched and retains all its natural glory. Then continue to the hotel near the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

DAY4Jokulsarlon and ice cave
We continued through the rural landscape, past farms, heading east. On the drive, we will pass the amazing mossy lava fields.
Today we will embark on a glacier adventure to explore the natural ice caves of Vatnajokull and the magical Jokulsarlon. Adventures on ice are always somewhat flexible and depend heavily on local weather conditions, which can be unpredictable.
We will visit the Jokulsarlon and the nearby Diamond Beach. There, you'll encounter icebergs of all shapes and sizes, floating in the lagoon or resting on the elusive faded black sands in the afternoon shadows. If you're lucky, you might spot a seal bathing in gilded black sand grains.
After that, we will head to Skaftafell Mountain and head to Vatnajokull, the largest glacier in Europe. We want to make sure you have the best time to explore the glacier, so your certified glacier guide will decide when is best to start your adventure. Also, keep in mind that the temperature inside the ice cave is well below freezing, so bring warm clothing. Vatnajokull Glacier Hike and Ice Cave Visit Strap on your crampons and get ready for the magic moment - step on the glacier! Experienced guides will explain this incredibly dynamic, moving and vibrant world to you. You'll see incredible crevasses that wind their way through the glacier. These labyrinths are constantly formed by the dance of nature. Admire the huge moulds that go deep into the glacier, as well as the amazing naturally formed ice caves. Make sure to bring a camera and you'll be sure to capture some truly inspiring photo opportunities throughout the hike. The night's accommodation will be in Kirkjubæjarklaustur. If the weather forecast is favorable, we'll keep an eye on the northern lights.
Please note: Glacier trekking is a very weather dependent activity, so if traffic and weather conditions are not suitable, glacier trekking will be replaced by a similar activity.

DAY5Sightseeing in southern Iceland
After a nutritious breakfast, we will slowly return to Reykjavik and visit the main attractions of Iceland's south coast. If road conditions permit, we will first make a short detour to Fjaðrargljufur Canyon. After that, we will stop at the iconic Eldhraun lava field before heading to the Reynisfjara.
In Reynisfjara, you will be able to witness the immense power of the Atlantic Ocean. You can also visit the Black basalt caves and admire the Reynisdrangar basalt piles rising from the sea. According to legend, these are nothing more than trolls turned to rock by the rising sun. After that, we will head to Skogafoss, a stunning 60m waterfall that drops into the pool below. The pool beneath the falls is believed to contain Viking treasure. You can also climb the 527 steps to enjoy panoramic views above the falls.
After the South Coast tour, we will begin our journey back to Reykjavik. As we return to the city through the south, we will have the opportunity to visit more sites. We will return to Reykjavik between 16:00 (4:00 PM) and 19:00 (7:00 PM).
